These Affiliate Terms and Conditions are designed specifically for Sitara Retreat Kenya, incorporating your requested 10% commission rate based on the base booking price(Base price may be subject to change according to seasons eg. 10% commission at a base price of KES. 15,800 = 1,580.)

1. Purpose and Enrollment

By joining the Sitara Retreat Kenya Affiliate Program, you (“The Affiliate”) agree to promote Sitara Retreat Kenya to your audience in exchange for a commission on successful, completed bookings.

2. Commission Structure

• Base Booking Price: 15,800* KES (Standard Nightly Rate/Package) – subject to the season base price!

• Commission Rate: 10% of the base booking price.

• Payout Amount: 1,580 KES per qualified booking – subject to the season base price!

• Exclusions: Commissions are calculated on the base price only. Taxes (VAT/Tourism Levy), additional meals, laundry, transfers, or excursions are not eligible for commission unless otherwise stated in writing.

3. Qualified Bookings

A “Qualified Booking” is defined as a reservation where:

1. The guest uses your unique affiliate link or referral code.

2. The guest pays the required 50% deposit and the full remaining balance.

3. The guest successfully completes their stay (checks out).

4. The booking is not canceled, and no refund is issued according to Sitara Retreat Kenya’s standard cancellation policy (e.g., full refund if canceled >60 days prior).

4. Tracking and Cookies

• Tracking Link: You will be provided with a unique URL or Promo Code.

• Cookie Duration: 30 days. If a guest clicks your link and books within 30 days, you will receive credit, provided they do not use another affiliate’s link subsequently.

5. Payment Terms

• Payout Cycle: Commissions are paid monthly, on the 15th of the following month after the guest has checked out or weekly for guest checkouts of less than 2 days whichever is applicable!

• Minimum Payout: 10% of the base price(eg a base price of 15,800 attracts a commission of 1,580) – subject to the seasonal rate change.

• Payment Methods: Payments will be made via M-Pesa.

6. Promotional Guidelines

To maintain the brand integrity of Sitara Retreat Kenya:

• Approved Channels: You may promote via personal websites, blogs, email newsletters, and social media (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook).

• Prohibited Tactics:

  • No “Spamming” or unsolicited bulk messaging.

  • No bidding on “Sitara Retreat” keywords in Google Ads/PPC.

  • No misleading claims (e.g., “90% off” or “free stay”) that are not officially authorized.

• Disclosures: You must include a clear disclosure (e.g., #Ad or “Affiliate Partner”) to comply with global advertising standards.

7. Cancellation and Refunds

• If a guest cancels a booking and is refunded by Sitara Retreat Kenya, any pending commission for that booking will be voided.

• If a commission has already been paid for a booking that is later charged back or disputed, the amount will be deducted from your future earnings.

8. Relationship of Parties

The Affiliate is an independent contractor. This agreement does not create a partnership, joint venture, or employer-employee relationship. You are responsible for any taxes due on your earnings in accordance with Kenyan Law.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time with 7 days’ written notice. Sitara Retreat Kenya reserves the right to terminate immediately if the Affiliate is found to be engaging in fraudulent or unethical marketing practices.
